• Paperclips, rubber bands, pens
• Markers and highlighters
• Organizers and desk calendars
• Labels and label covers
• Envelopes and envelope sealing solution or fluid
• Boxes
• Tape of varying sizes
• Glue
• Staples
• Legal pads or notebooks
• Post-it-notes
• Batteries

Also, take an inventory of anything you have that might not be working well, such as old, dull scissors or crusty erasers, dirty mouse pads and other undesirable things.
