Postage Meter Ink Cartridges Warranty & Return Policy
This Warranty & Return Policy (“Policy”) governs all purchases made from Postage Meter Ink Cartridges. By placing an order, the customer agrees to the terms outlined below. All time periods referenced are calculated from the original order date.
- Postage Meter Ink – Limited Equipment Damage Warranty
Postage Meter Ink Cartridges warranties that its compatible postage meter ink cartridges are free from manufacturing defects that would directly cause physical damage to supported equipment when used as intended.
If a customer believes a cartridge caused machine damage, the following conditions apply:
The customer must provide written documentation from a certified service technician, on official company letterhead, clearly stating that the damage was caused exclusively and directly by a defective Postage Meter Ink Cartridges postage meter ink cartridge. The documentation must include a detailed explanation and supporting evidence.
Postage Meter Ink Cartridges reserves the right to review the claim and request inspection of the cartridge and/or equipment before approving coverage.
If a claim is approved, Postage Meter Ink Cartridges will reimburse reasonable and customary repair costs.
Postage Meter Ink Cartridges is not responsible for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including but not limited to downtime, labor, loss of business, or loss of revenue.
This limited warranty applies only to Postage Meter Ink Cartridges branded compatible ink cartridges used as intended in supported equipment. It does not apply to misuse, improper installation, unauthorized modification, third-party ink mixtures, or unrelated equipment defects.
- 30-Day Returns – Unopened Products
Unopened and undamaged products may be returned within thirty (30) days of the original order date for a refund of the product purchase price.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Products must be returned in original, unopened, and resalable condition with undamaged packaging.
Returns outside the 30-day window or not in resalable condition will not be accepted.
Approved refunds are processed within one to two (1–2) business days after receipt and inspection.
Printheads are excluded from this section.
- 60-Day Limited Replacement – Damaged or Defective Upon Receipt
Products that arrive damaged or defective must be reported within sixty (60) days of the original order date.
Once verified, Postage Meter Ink Cartridges may, at its discretion, provide a replacement product. A return label may be issued at Postage Meter Ink Cartridges’ discretion.
Replacements are shipped via standard shipping unless expedited shipping was originally purchased.
This section does not apply to printheads.
- 180-Day Limited Consumable Coverage
If a consumable product stops functioning within one hundred eighty (180) days of the original order date, the customer may request evaluation for a prorated replacement or store credit based on remaining usable product.
Proof of purchase, usage, and product failure is required.
Proration is determined by Postage Meter Ink Cartridges based on remaining estimated value.
Refunds are not issued under this section.
This coverage applies only to consumable products and excludes equipment, machines, and printheads.
- Printhead Policy (Including Memjet Printheads)
Printheads are precision components and must be handled, installed, and operated properly.
Opened printheads are non-returnable and non-refundable.
Defective printhead claims must be submitted within sixty (60) days of the original order date and must include written documentation from a certified technician, on company letterhead, confirming the printhead was defective upon receipt and detailing the nature of the defect.
Postage Meter Ink Cartridges is not responsible for failures resulting from improper installation, equipment issues, incompatible consumables, environmental conditions, misuse, or normal wear.
- Reseller, Bulk, and Third-Party Marketplace Purchases
This Policy applies only to the original end-user purchaser.
Purchases made by resellers, bulk purchasers (including discounted or volume pricing), or through third-party marketplaces are final and are not eligible for returns, replacements, credits, or warranty coverage.
- Envelope Sealing Machines – Limited Warranty
Envelope sealing machines sold by Postage Meter Ink Cartridges are reengineered units designed exclusively for envelope sealing applications.
These machines are covered by a limited 6 month warranty from the original order date against manufacturing defects.
Warranty claims may require documentation and/or return of the machine for inspection and approval.
Used or installed machines are non-returnable and non-refundable except in cases of verified manufacturing defects covered under this limited warranty.
This warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, improper installation, unauthorized modification, use outside intended sealing applications, normal wear and tear, or external causes.
Postage Meter Ink Cartridges is not responsible for labor costs, installation expenses, downtime, or loss of business.
This machine warranty is separate from and does not apply to ink cartridges, printheads, or other consumables.
- Other Supplies
Tapes, sealing solutions, and other non-electronic supply items are subject to the 30-day unopened return policy unless otherwise stated in writing at the time of purchase.
- Limitation of Liability
Except as expressly stated in this Policy, products are provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law.
In all cases, Postage Meter Ink Cartridges’ total liability is limited to the original purchase price of the product giving rise to the claim.
To the extent permitted by law, Postage Meter Ink Cartridges disclaims all implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
If any provision of this Policy is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
